WINSTON-SALEM, NC -- The Wake Forest baseball program announced its four-member recruiting class from the early signing period. The class is consisted entirely of high school players, all of whom will come to Wake Forest from different states.

By comparison to years past, this year's early signing class is small. Last year at this time, the Deacons added eight players including four junior college transfers.

"After this season, we will lose just three seniors and maybe a couple juniors. We are lucky to have few needs," head coach George Greer said. "These four student-athletes will give us much needed depth and will certainly have the opportunity to contribute right away. We're excited to have each of these young men."

"These four players fill specific needs. Each one will be a major contributor in our efforts to maintain success nationally, in addition to the ACC," recruiting coordinator Jamie Mabe said.
