Wake Forest baseball players Jamie D'Antona and Cory Sullivan were honored as Baseball Weekly released its All-American and Freshman All-America teams on Wednesday.

Sullivan was a second team pick as a utility player while D'Antona was named a Freshman All-American at first base.

D'Antona, the ACC's Rookie of the Year from Trumbull, Conn., batted .364 with 17 home runs and 77 RBI. He became one of just five players to hit three or more home runs in an NCAA Tournament game last weekend when he blasted three homers against Tennessee Tech in Knoxville, Tenn. In all, D'Antona hit five home runs in the five games at the regional and finished his freshman season on a 17-game hitting streak.

Last week, Sullivan, a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., was named first team All-American by Collegiate Baseball. He finished his senior season with a .390 batting average, 13 home runs, 67 RBI and 27 stolen bases.
