Volleyball Travels to Atlanta to Face the Yellow Jackets

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest volleyball team travels to Atlanta, Ga. to face Georgia Tech on Sunday at 5 p.m. The Yellow Jackets will be the Demon Deacons' second ACC opponent of the season and the team would like to repeat Tuesday's results of their win over Clemson.
The Demon Deacons come into the match fresh off of a 3-2 defeat of Clemson Tigers on Tuesday. Wake took the match to five games, 28-30, 30-23, 30-22, 25-30 and 15-12. Wake Forest is 6-2 overall and 1-0 in the ACC.
The Yellow Jackets just dropped their ACC opener against Duke 2-3 on Tuesday. Georgia Tech lost in five games, 30-27, 19-30, 30-27, 24-30, 14-16, falling to 4-3, 0-1 ACC.
Against Clemson, junior setter Ashlee Phillips recorded a season high 67 assists and Trina Maso de Moya tallied a season high 23 digs, 23 kills and seven service aces.
The Demon Deacons are 6-9 in their all-time series record versus the Yellow Jackets.
