Teammates Darius Songaila and Craig Dawson are also on Wake's list of 1,000-point scorers. Howard's 1,000th point came on the second of two free throws late in the first half.

Antwan Scott ... blocked more than one shot in a game for the 12th time this season, the 32nd time in his career ... scored in double figures for the 13th time this season, the 32nd time in his career

Correction On page nine of today's game notes, under 'Deacon-Wolfpack Connections,' there is a note about Wake coach Skip Prosser and NC State assistant coach Larry Harris previously going head-to-head when Prosser's Xavier teams went against Ohio University. Actually, it is NC State assistant Larry Hunter (not Harris) who coached at Ohio University.
