Baseball Recruiting Class Ranked 27th By Collegiate Baseball

Winston-Salem, N.C. - The Wake Forest baseball recruiting class was ranked #27 by Collegiate Baseball magazine, the publication announced this week. The Demon Deacons have 10 newcomers including seven freshmen, two junior college transfers and one four-year college transfer to the team.

Five Atlantic Coast Conference teams had recruiting classes rated among the top 30.

The team's 10 newcomers are: Matt Antonelli (INF, Peabody, Mass.), Josh Ellis (RHP, Lexington, Ky.), Justin Keadle (RHP, Cypress (Calif.) JC), Andrew Knox (RHP, Fort Myers, Fla.), Lee Land (3B/RHP, Durham, N.C.), Charlie Mellies (RHP, Clifton, Va.), Matt Miller (OF, Modesto (Calif.) JC), Brian Shust (OF, Long Grove, Ill.), Sean Souders (LHP, Berekley, Calif.), and J.B. Tucker (C, Mississippi State).
