The 25th-ranked men's team finished fourth in the league with a 5-3 record and enters the tournament as the four seed, where they will meet the five seed, No. 37 Virginia, at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 18 in the first quarterfinal. The Cavaliers won the regular season matchup, 4-3 on March 22 in Winston-Salem.

It will be a rematch of the regular season finale for both teams played last Sunday in College Park, Md., and won by the Terrapins 4-3. Thursday's winner will advance to the quarterfinals to play the two seed, No. 17 Clemson, at noon on Friday.
