Men's Tennis Drops In Second Round To #9 Duke

DURHAM, N.C. - The 28th-ranked Wake Forest men's tennis team gave Duke everything it had, but came up short, losing 4-0 to the ninth-ranked and eighth-seeded Blue Devils in the second round of the NCAA Championship Sunday afternoon at Duke University's Ambler Stadium. The Demon Deacons finish their season 14-9.
Duke picked up the doubles point with wins at No.1 and No. 3 and then captured straight set victories at the fourth, fifth and second positions in singles play for the win.
Brett Ross had entered the third set with Duke's Peter Shults at No. 6 singles when the match ended.
