Winston-Salem, N.C. -- WBRF-FM, the flagship station for the Wake Forest ISP Sports Network, will be operating with a reduced signal this week after a lightning strike damaged its broadcast tower near Galax, VA.

The normally strong 100,000-watt signal's loss in power may affect Triad listeners following the Wake Forest baseball team in the ACC Tournament. The Deacons open play in that event on Wednesday (May 21) at 5 p.m. against Georgia Tech. The broadcast will also be available on the Internet at wakeforestsports.com.
