LONDON - Former Wake Forest women's tennis player Bea Bielik was defeated 6-1, 6-3 by #33 Svetlana Kuznetsova from Russia in the first round at Wimbledon Tuesday afternoon. Bielik, the 2002 NCAA Singles Champion and Player of the Year, played her way into Wimbledon's main draw with three straight wins in qualifying play.
