Women's Tennis To Participate In Virginia Tech Fall Invitational

Winston-Salem, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's tennis team will compete in its second tournament of the fall season this weekend at the Virginia Tech Fall Invitational in Blacksburg, Va. In addition to the Demon Deacons and host Hokies, the three-day event will also feature teams from James Madison, Marshall, East Tennessee State and Radford.

The invitational will feature four singles' flights and a pair of doubles' flights. Senior Karin Coetzee is the top-seed in the A Flight, while freshman Ashlee Davis is the third seed in the top flight. The doubles tandem of Coetzee and Aimee Smith are the second seed in Flight A doubles.

Play starts each day at 9 a.m. Results will be immediately available following the completion of each match on Virginia Tech's women's tennis page at hokiesports.com.
