Women's Soccer to Play NC State in Raleigh

Raleigh, N.C. - The Wake Forest Women's Soccer team will face the NC State Wolfpack for the 13th time this season at the SAS Soccer Complex in Raleigh on Oct. 22. Kickoff is set for 7:00pm.
The Deacs are currently 9-5-1 overall, with an ACC record of 3-4-0. Coming into this weekend's game, NC State has an overall record of 7-6-2 , an ACC record of 1-6, and a ninth place tie in the ACC standings with Miami. The Deacons are currently ahead 6-5-1 in the series against the Pack. The last meeting between the Deacs and the Pack ended with a 3-0 Wake Forest victory at Spry Stadium. Wake Forest has captured six wins out of the last seven matches against NC State.
The Demon Deacons defeated Maryland 2-0 in ACC women's soccer action this past weekend. This marked the Deacs' third ACC win of the season. NC State will enter this weekend's match with a five game losing streak. The Pack's only ACC win thus far was against Miami, 1-0.
After NC State, Wake Forest will travel to Clemson on Oct. 28 for a 7:00pm game.
