Women's Soccer Travels to #17 Florida State

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's soccer team will look for its second consecutive conference win as the Demon Deacons travel to Tallahassee, Fla., on Friday night to face #17 Florida State.
The meeting for the two teams will be the 11th, with Wake Forest leading the series, 7-2-2. On the road, the Deacs have a 3-1 record against the Seminoles, despite the last meeting being a 1-2 loss on Nov. 5 in the ACC tournament semifinals.
Coming into the game, the Deacs carry a 7-3-1 record with the last win being a 2-1 overtime victory over #3 Virginia. The Seminoles will enter the match with a 7-2-0 overall record and a 1-2-0 ACC record. In conference action, both teams will enter the match with a 1-2 record.
After Florida State, the Deacs will return home on Sunday to face the University of Miami. Kickoff at Spry Stadium is 1 p.m.
