Wake Forest Head Coach Skip Prosser "I have to give a lot of credit to Winston-Salem State. I think they played very hard and very well. They stayed with the plan. Again, I thought that they were out-manned in terms of size, they scrapped and we need to give them all the credit in the world."
On Player Minutes and Substitutions: "We had a pre-determined sub rotation and a pre determined number of minutes per player. Eric got in some foul trouble and so we try to play three of those guy together in Vytas, Eric and Viss in a three man rotation as the situation dictates. We will play Jamaal there as well.
"While a team like Wintson-Salem State forwards give away some height on one end they can hurt you on the other end with quickness. In that kind of situation we may go with a smaller line up."
"I thought that they played hard. In the first ten minutes, we really guarded well. I don't think we played possession to possession as well as we should play. It is hard to say with 19 offensive rebounds it wasn't like we were standing around on the boards. The reason you play these games is to try and learn some things. We learned some things after USC-Upstate and I think we learned even more tonight."

On if Coach was mad: "Not that he is mad, but we could have played a lot better in the second half. I think we got caught up in the scoring and we got caught up in the whole thing with us versus Winston and we kind of let up a bit. The first ten minutes, we were denying and doing everything defensively, doing everything as a team and then all of a sudden we kind of lost track of that. Guys got fouls and all of a sudden they got us mentally. It was a learning experience and I am glad we caught this early so we know how to fix the problems in the future."
Chris Paul
On the game: "We had some mental lapses and there are some different things we need to work on. It is an exhibition game and we are still learning but we just need to make sure we pay attention and listen."
On the upcoming season "It is kind of crazy that we are playing a really good George Washington team on Monday. The mistakes that we made tonight, we don't have long to correct them so we have to come in hungry, ready to practice tomorrow."
Winston-Salem State Head Coach Philip Stitt
"We were a little passive in the beginning. I guess Chapel Hill prepared us for tonight. I think we handled it very well. Hopefully they will realize that if you can execute against Wake, then we can execute against the rest of the schedule. I think in the first half we did a fairly decent job executing plays and we had some open looks we just didn't knock them down. We are a much better shooting team than that and we know we are going to make those kinds of shots."
"Alleggrie has been aggressive in all three exhibition games and that has really helped us a lot. He has really taken charge and gotten into the flow of things."
