Deacons Take On Virginia Tech in Home and Home Series The Demon Deacons will head to Blacksburg, Va. Tuesday for a matchup with Virginia Tech before returning home to take on the Hokies Wednesday at 2:30 pm in Winston-Salem.
Wake Forest Getting Quality Starts in March... In nine of the last eleven games, Demon Deacon starting pitchers have turned in quality starts (6+ IP, 4 ER or less). Justin Keadle leads the way with three, Tim Morley and Kyle Young have posted two while Brian Bach and Josh Ellis each contributed one.
Balanced Attack... The Deacons have been getting run production from everyone in the batting order. Wake Forest has nine batters with 10 or more RBI, but only one has more than 14. Junior Ben Ingold leads the team with 18 runs knocked in.
