Winston-Salem, N.C. - The Wake Forest volleyball team returns home to host Florida State and Miami after a five-match road swing. The Demon Deacons will first welcome the Seminoles on Friday at 7 p.m. and then the Hurricanes on Saturday at 6 p.m.
Wake enters the match coming off a 3-0 rout of Boston College last weekend. Against the Eagles, Christy Williams and Lauren Peterson led the Deacs on the outside with 17 and 13 kills, respectively. Improving their overall record to 9-9, the Deacs will look to increase their one game winning streak.
Florida State enters the match after a 3-0 loss to Duke on Thursday night. Dropping their record to 5-13 overall and 3-7 in the conference, the Seminoles had one player hit in double-figures against the Blue Devils.
The Hurricanes return to action night after finishing 2-1 last week. Miami claimed a 3-1 victory over Florida State at Tallahassee on Tuesday before suffering a four game home loss to Virginia Friday. The Hurricanes then walked away with a 3-1 victory over Virginia Tech on Sunday to improve to 10-7 overall and 5-4 in ACC play.
