Winston-Salem, N.C. - The No. 1 Wake Forest field hockey team will look to extend its 14-game winning streak with a pair of non-conference games. The Demon Deacons will first travel to No. 13 Louisville on Saturday and then return home to host Stanford on Monday, Oct. 10.

The Demon Deacons, currently 10-0 on the season, played three games in four days last week that included a 2-0 victory over No. 5 North Carolina. On the weekend, 10 different players scored goals, including three from junior Kristi Harshman and two from both Michelle Kasold and Christine Suggs.

Against Louisville, the Demon Deacons carry a 5-1 series record with Wake Forest earning a commanding 6-1 victory last season. The meeting against Stanford will be just the second overall, with the last outing a 2-0 victory on Sept. 8, 1994.

Game time against the Cardinals is set for 4 p.m. in Kentner Stadium.
