Winston-Salem, N.C. - The No. 1 Wake Forest field hockey team, currently 11-0 on the season, will host Stanford, Monday afternoon in Kentner Stadium. Game time against the Cardinals is set for 4 p.m.

The Demon Deacons are coming off a 5-2 victory over Louisville this past weekend to improve their non-conference winning streak to 60. Against the Cardinals, junior Haley Scott led the Deacs with a goal and a pair of assists, while Jamie Whitten, Christine Suggs, Kristi Harshman and Maeke Boreel each scored one goal.

Stanford enters the match after a tough 3-0 loss to North Carolina on Sunday afternoon. Prior to that game, the Cardinals defeated Davidson, 5-2.

The meeting against Stanford will be just the second overall, with the last outing a 2-0 victory on Sept. 8, 1994.
