WFU Publication Earns National Honor

The 2004-05 Wake Forest University Men's Basketball Media Guide finished second nationally in the annual College Sports Information Directors of America publications contest.
Wake Forest, which took top honors in District 3, finished second nationally to Kentucky. The Demon Deacon media guide finished ahead of third-place Pittsburgh, followed by Florida State, Wichita State, Purdue and Maryland. There were 71 Division I schools entered in the contest.
The Wake Forest Men's Basketball Media Guide, edited and designed by assistant athletic director Dean Buchan, associate director Mike Vest and assistant directors Michael Bertsch and Sam Perry, has finished in the top six nationally in three of the last six years. The 2004-05 Guide was printed by Litho Industries of Durham, NC.
