Schofield Forces Fumble...
RS-Freshman CB Channing Schofield forced a fumble on a second quarter kickoff, but NC State recovered the ball. It marked the first forced fumble of his career. The Deacons have forced 15 fumbles this season, but fallen on only five.

Safety...
Deep in NC State territory during the second quarter, senior FS Josh Gattis forced a fumble and the ball bounced all the way back into the NC State endzone. The Wolfpack fell on the ball for a safety. It marked the first safety by the Deacons since last year's Maryland game.

57-Yard Touchdown Strike...

Morton dodged two would-be tacklers for a 57-yard touchdown pass. It was the third-longest offensive play of the year for the Deacons.
