WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 8 Wake Forest women's soccer team travels down south to face Clemson, Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. The Demon Deacons are currently in third place in the ACC with a 4-1 conference mark, following just behind North Carolina and Virginia.
Wake Forest's last game against Duke was postponed after 51 minutes of action this past Wednesday. Prior to the lightning delay, the Demon Deacons were trailing 1-0.
The Deacs are currently led by senior Elizabeth Remy with seven goals and three assists, which is good for third in the ACC. Allie Sadow, Sarah Winslow and Megan Upchurch follow closely with five goals each.
The Tigers enter the game with a 7-6-1 overall record and a 2-3-1 mark in the conference. They are led by Nuria Zufia with four goals and two assists.
