Wake Forest Head Coach Jennifer Averill

Opening Statement...
"We were a little confident there with two minutes left in the game and then have it spoiled was really not the outcome we were looking for. I thought it was a disruptive game. I thought that the flow was off for both parties. The intensity was huge. The anxiety was there for sure. Both teams just fought hard, but I am just extremely proud of how our players just believed in each other and in themselves. We went about it the long way, but fortunately for us it panned out."

End of regulation...
"We kind of sat back on our heels and played more defensive. We were not as proactive as I would have liked. Having said that, we made some foolish decisions and they got the third goal with a minute left. We are going to talk a clock management and where we want the ball to go over the weekend."

Prep talks...
"I would like some credit for that, but that was all them. Absolutely. They were so miserably upset with themselves and with the situation. You were thinking the momentum is totally in Duke's court. But, we still had the momentum and they were fired up as ever. They had a game plan that I thought over time we executed really well. We didn't possess the ball as well in the first over time period. But we settled down the ball."

On playing on Sunday...
"Our whole motto is to play on Sunday, and now we have put ourselves in the position to play for the championship. After the end of regulation there just is so much emotion, you think you are so spent and there is still more to come out. And I don't think I have been here that often, look at Missy with Maryland. We are still chasing that. We humble ourselves and really enjoy that process."

Duke Head Coach Beth Bozman

On Duke's season:
"I don't think I could have been prouder of the way Duke played today. They put everything out there, made a couple of mistakes and it cost us the game. You never see nine goals scored in a semifinal game. It speaks to the kind of game this was today. I think this is a very mentally strong team. I'm very proud of the show we put on today. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish it off."

On the game:
"I think today was a game of capitalizing on the other team's mistakes on both sides. You just can't make mistakes in this type of game."
