Women's Basketball Plays Final Home Game On Tuesday Night

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's basketball team closes its home season on Tuesday, Feb. 20 with a non-conference game against Savannah State. At the game, the Demon Deacons will honor the three seniors, Cotelia Bond-Young, Keila Evans and Liz Strunk.
The Demon Deacons have just three games remaining in the regular season. After Tuesday, the Deacs will travel to Florida State on Thursday, Feb. 23 and Virginia Tech on Sunday, Feb. 26. After that, Wake Forest will play in the ACC Tournament in Greensboro, N.C., March 2-5.
Wake Forest welcomes Savannah State after a tough 81-70 loss to Virginia on Sunday night. Despite falling to the Cavaliers, the Deacs had two players score 20-plus points -- Cotelia Bond-Young with 23 and Deirdre Naughton with 20. The game for Naughton marked the third consecutive game that the freshman has scored 20 or more points.
