Wake Forest Volleyball Announces Spring Schedule

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest volleyball team will compete in two home tournaments and one training day this spring, as announced by head coach Heather Kahl Holmes. Both home tournaments are open to the public free of charge.
The Demon Deacons will first host Gardner Webb, Virginia Commonwealth, East Carolina, NC State and Virginia on April 1st. The one-day tournament will consist of round-robin play and will take place in Reynolds Gym on the campus of Wake Forest University, beginning at 9 a.m.
The following weekend, the Deacs will hit the road for Blacksburg, Va., where they will spend the day training with the Hokies. During the 2005 season, Wake Forest faced Virginia Tech twice and split matches with them.
Closing its spring schedule the weekend of April 14-15, Wake Forest will host Western Carolina, Charlotte, Winthrop, Davidson, Coastal Carolina and various Demon Deacon Alumni in the final home tournament. In addition, the team will hold its annual end of year banquet.
