On the win...
"I am really happy to get out of here with a win. An ACC win is special. Miami is a team on the road that beat Maryland, Georgia Tech and NC State. It was a good result for us especially with Mike Drum going down. We had a 10 point lead and frittered it away. I give our players a lot of credit for their resiliency to come back and grab the game by the throat. The two big threes by Harvey Hale gave us some separation."
On the play of David Weaver...
"We needed him, and I thought he gave us excellent minutes off the bench. He's a freshman so he made his misplays, but I was really happy for him. He's a great kid and he works hard. He was certainly a big part of the win today. We don't win the game without David Weaver."
On the status of the team...
"We are going to enjoy this win. I really like our team. They are good kids with good character. Despite many struggles they are showing resiliency and I am proud of our kids. This afternoon when it could have gone south and Miami made its run, we made the plays to win."

"It's disappointing. Defensively, we did a good job on Kyle (Visser) for the most part. We had a tough shooting night. We had some really good looks but couldn't knock them down. We had two breakdowns defensively in that one stretch. It's tough to win. They did a nice job of getting to the line. I thought that was the difference in the game."
"I thought the last game we wore down. Defensively, we were ok, but like I said it was just a tough shooting night. I thought Jack played well. I thought we got good looks and took some tough shots."
