Wake Forest Women's Basketball Camp Applications Now Available

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The 2007 Mike Petersen Basketball Camp is quickly arriving and applications are available now. The Demon Deacons will host three camps during the summer: shooting school from June 9-10, Day Camp I from June 18-21 and Day Camp II from July 17-20.
The camps are designed for all skill levels and are taught through fundamental and advanced skill instruction, individual competition (one-on-one and three-on-three) and team competition.
All three camps will be held on the campus of Wake Forest University in the state-of-the- art Miller Center and at Reynolds Gymnasium. Meals will be served in the newly renovated Reynolda Hall.
The shooting school is designed for basketball players who want to improve their offensive skills. Each participant will work on the fundamentals of the game through drill work. The day camp will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is open to all rising third through 12th grade girls.
Day Camps I and II focus on fundamental and advanced basketball skills for both the beginner as well as the advanced player. Day Camp I is open to all rising third through 12th grade girls, while Day Camp II is open to all rising first through eighth grade girls.
All campers will receive one Wake Forest women's basketball season pass for free entrance to all home games during the 2007-08 season.
