Wake Forest built a 13-4 lead at the 14:57 mark of the first half. However, the Deacs were held without a field goal until an L.D. Williams three-pointer at the 5:26 mark. The drought covered nine minutes and 31 seconds.
After Jeff Teague's three-pointer one minute into the game, the Deacons missed on their next 10 attempts from beyond the arc.
