WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - After returning from play at the USTA Team Invitational in New York late Monday night, the Wake Forest women's tennis team now has a little over a week to prepare for the ITA Regionals at the WFU Indoor Center, beginning Wednesday, October 22.

Emilee Malvehy, Sierra Poske, Ryann Cutillo and Katarina Reveche represented the Demon Deacons at the USTA sponsored event, playing several opponents from the Ivy League as well as opponents from schools in the Big East and Big 12.

Malvehy finished 2-2 in Flight I singles, including a ranked win over No. 116 Morgan Frank of Texas A&M. Reveche finished 3-1 in Flight III, while Poske was 2-2 in Flight II and Cutillo was 3-1 in Flight IV.

The team excelled in doubles, where Cutillo and Reveche took the doubles championship in Flight II, while Poske and Malvehy advanced to the championship match in Flight I.

Draws for the upcoming ITA Regionals will be released early next week. The tournament will feature a pre-qualifying singles draw of 16, a qualifying singles draw of 32, a main singles draw of 64 as well as a doubles draw of 64.
