WINTSON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 3 Wake Forest field hockey team is headed to Chapel Hill, N.C. to face the No. 4 North Carolina Tar Heels at Francis Henry Stadium at 12 p.m.

The Tar Heels enter the contest with an 8-2-0 record. Both of team's losses occurred at Wake Forest's Kentner Stadium. On August 31 Iowa snapped North Carolina's 25-match win streak with a 3-2 upset on the second day of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Wake Forest posted the second UNC loss on September 5.

Wake Forest is 9-1-0 and 1-1 in the ACC. Saturday's match will count as the official regular season conference contest between the two teams.

When the Deacs and the Tar Heels battled earlier this season, the Demon Deacons took the then-top-ranked Tar Heels to double-over time and then to a penalty stroke battle. Wake Forest won in strokes to post its first win over UNC since the ACC tournament semifinal in 2006.
