Wake Forest Announces 2008 Spring Schedule

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest will host two tournaments to highlight its 2008 spring schedule, as announced by head coach Heather Kahl Holmes on Friday.

The Demon Deacons open up their spring slate by hosting a seven-team tournament on March 29. Teams scheduled to participate include Gardner-Webb, UNC Greensboro, NC State, Wingate, Winston-Salem State and Winthrop.

The Deacs will host an exhibition match against a to-be-determined opponent on April 5.

Wake will the close out the spring by hosting a nine-team tournament on April 12. Appalachian State, High Point, North Carolina Central, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, Radford, Virginia Tech and William & Mary are all scheduled to play in the event.

Admission at Reynolds Gymnasium is free for all of Wake Forest's spring competition play dates.
