Miscellaneous

Wake Forest won the opening tip for the fifth time this season.
The Deacs have hit at least one three-pointer in 520 straight games (dating back to Feb. 8, 1992, at North Carolina). David Weaver pushed the streak to 520 with his three-pointer in the first half.
Wake Forest ended the first half on a 7-2 run to cut Florida State's 10-point lead in half. The Deacons continued the run into the second half, scoring the first four points of the period to pull within 31-30.
The Deacons were looking for a season three-game sweep of the Seminoles. Wake Forest has had such an opportunity 28 times in program history and has been successful 18 times. The last time the Deacs were able to pull off the feat was in 2002-03 against Florida State.

Freshman Jeff Teague

Made his 21st start of the season and his 20th in his last 21 games.
Scored in double figures for the 21st time this season.
Led the team in scoring for the 10th time this season.
Missed his first free throw in his last three games ... came into the game having made 14 straight and then he made his first three today.

Redshirt Sophomore David Weaver

Was the Deacons' first player off the bench, entering the game for Chas McFarland.
Scored a season-high 12 points.
Made a season-high four field goals out of a season-high six attempts
Scored in double figures for the first time this season and the third time in his career.
Made his second career three-pointer ... hit a career-best two three-pointers in the game ... had just one career three-pointer coming into the game.
Played a season-high 22 minutes.
Tied his season-high with two free throws.
