• Wake Forest finishes the regular season 17-12 overall and 7-9 in the ACC.
• Head Coach Dino Gaudio moves to 17-12 at Wake Forest and 85-136 in his eighth season overall as a head coach.
• The Deacons improve to 241-55 all-time at Joel Coliseum (opened in 1989-90), including a 103-47 record in conference games.

• Wake Forest lost the opening tip for the 25th time this season.
• The Deacs have hit at least one three-pointer in 519 straight games (dating back to Feb. 8, 1992, at North Carolina). Ishmael Smith pushed the streak to 519 with his three-pointer at the 18:41 mark of the first half.
• Wake Forest hit its first four three-point attempts of the game. The Deacons made 7 of their first 12 field goal attempts but then hit just 1 of their next 8 attempts.
• The Deacons took an early 20-8 lead, but the Wolfpack countered with a 12-2 run to tie the game 22-22. Wake outscored NC State 13-7 the rest of the first half.
