Parr, Forman Set for F18 Futures Doubles Semifinals

JOPLIN, Mo. - Wake Forest rising senior Cory Parr and rising junior Steven Forman have advanced to the semifinals of the Millennium Tennis Club F18 Futures Tournament and will compete for a spot in the finals on Thursday night.
The team opened play on Tuesday with a straight set win over Bolivia's Diego Camacho and Mauricio Estivariz (6-2, 6-3) and followed with a 6-2, 7-6 (3) win over Ytai Abougzir and Maciek Sykut (USA) in the second round.
Parr and Forman will continue play after 5:30 on Thursday evening, facing University of Georgia All-American graduate Travis Hegleson and UGA rising junior Jamie Hunt in the semifinals.
WFU rising sophomore Jonathan Wolff is competing in the singles portion of the tournament, and has advanced to the second round after defeating Jeffrey Das 6-3, 6-4 in the opening match. Wolff will play the University of Arkansas' Blake Strode in the second round on Thursday.
