Women's Tennis Tops Furman 6-1

GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Wake Forest women's tennis team defeated Furman 6-1 on Saturday afternoon, improving the Demon Deacon record to 6-1 for 2008. Furman still remains winless with a 0-4 record.
Senior Sierra Poske took her first ranked win of the season, defeating No. 37 Monica Aguello at No. 2 singles.
Freshman Ryann Cutillo improved to 6-0 in dual matches with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 5. Sasha Kulikova and Sierra Poske also successfully defended their undefeated doubles record with an 8-4 win at No. 1 to improve to 7-0.
Next up for Wake Forest is a home contest with William & Mary on February 21.
