No. 17 Netters Prepare for Spring Break Doubleheader

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 17 Wake Forest men's tennis team will battle East Tennessee State and Coastal Carolina beginning at 10 a.m. on March 12 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The Demon Deacons are 7-4, posting a recent 6-1 road win over Michigan. Senior Cory Parr leads Wake Forest at the top of the singles lineup with a 7-2 record. Parr will be seeking his 98th and 99th career singles wins in Thursday's matches.
ETSU is 3-6 and enters the match with two recent wins in Nashville, Tenn. over Lipscomb and Belmont. Senior Enrique Olivares, out of Venezuela, leads the Bucs at the top of the lineup with a 4-4 record.
Coastal Carolina improved to 10-1 for 2009 with a 7-0 win over Ferris State on March 9. German Perez, from Valencia, Spain, holds a 6-4 record at No. 1 singles for the Chanticleers.
Wake Forest will continue play in South Carolina on March 18, taking on the University of South Carolina Gamecocks in Columbia at 2 p.m.
