CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Wake Forest women's team defeated the College of Charleston 7-0 on Tuesday. All Demon Deacon athletes took straight set wins in singles to improve the team's record to 9-4 for 2009.

The Wake Forest doubles effort was also stellar in South Carolina, as all three teams posted 8-1 wins. Sierra Poske and Sasha Kulikova led the Deacons at the top of the lineup.

Freshman Ryann Cutillo earned her 15 win of the season, taking down Nina Burgoon at No. 6 singles, 6-0, 6-2.

Wake Forest will return to play in Winston-Salem on March 18, hosting NC State at 3 p.m.
