WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The 25th-ranked Wake Forest men's tennis team wraps up its 14-match road swing on Tuesday, taking on NC State in Raleigh at 2:30 p.m.
Wake Forest moved to third place in the conference standings with wins over Clemson and Georgia Tech last weekend. The Demon Deacons are now 4-1 in the ACC and 14-6 overall.
NC State is seventh in the ACC, and is .500 across the board: 3-3 in league matches and 9-9 in dual matches. Senior Jay Weinacker leads the Wolfpack at No. 1 singles and was ranked 65th in the ITA's most recent singles poll. Weinacker and Wake Forest's No. 1 singles competitor, 26th-ranked Cory Parr, are both undefeated at No. 1 in ACC play.
After Tuesday's match, Wake Forest will finish out the rest of the regular season in Winston-Salem. On Friday, April 3, the Demon Deacons will host No. 15 Florida State at 5 p.m., and follow with Miami on Sunday at 12 p.m.
