Tchangoue Earns ACC All-Academic Honors

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest women's basketball senior Alex Tchangoue was one of just ten student-athletes selected for the Atlantic Coast Conference's Women's Basketball All-Academic Team. To be eligible for consideration a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.
Tchangoue will graduate with a degree in Communication in May.
Tchangoue also earned a place on the All-ACC Honorable Mention team. She is Wake Forest's leading scorer and rebounder with 13.2 points per game and 7.2 rebounds. She netted her ninth double-double of the season against Maryland in the ACC quarterfinals on Friday.
The women's basketball team is currently waiting to hear its postseason fate. The NCAA women's basketball selection show will be on Monday, March 16 on ESPN at 7 p.m.
