Deacons Set to Open ITA Carolina Regional

ITA Carolina Regional Doubles Draw 
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's tennis team will begin play in the ITA Carolina Regional with two rounds of doubles on Thursday. The tournament features the top players from the states of North Carolina and South Carolina and is hosted by North Carolina and Duke.
Four Wake Forest doubles teams are entered in the tournament. Iain Atkinson and Tripper Carleton are the No. 3 seeds in the event and will await the winners of a match between teams from Campbell and UNC Asheville after receiving a first round bye.
Jonathan Wolff and Danny Kreyman were designated as a No. 9 seed and will take on Campbell's James Jones and Ondrej Kralik in the opening round. Zach Leslie and David Hopkins were drawn against ninth-seeded Sergey Belov and Yuta Hirokawa of Winthrop in Round One, and Amogh Prabhakar and Conner Sherwood round out the Wake Forest contingent with a first round match against ninth-seeded Peter Billingham and Matt Gordon of Coastal Carolina.
Singles action in the tournament is scheduled to begin on Friday.
