CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's tennis team continued to impress at the ITA Carolina Regional as four Demon Deacon singles players advanced to the Round of 16 on Saturday. Wake has more players in the Round of 16 than any other school in the tournament, which features the top players from the states of North and South Carolina.

No. 36 Tripper Carleton outlasted Coastal Carolina's Alex Funkhouser in a three-setter before taking down Furman's Sawyer Duncan 6-4, 6-0 in the Round of 32. Danny Kreyman defeated ECU's Massimo Mannino 6-1, 6-3 and Duke's Fred Saba 6-4, 6-4 to reach the Round of 16.

No. 81 Jonathan Wolff topped Furman's Tyler Droll 6-0, 1-6, 6-1 before getting the win over Davidson's Joe Schafer 6-4, 6-3. No. 68 Iain Atkinson advanced over Winthrop's Dejon Bevins in three sets and then defeated ACC foe David Holland (Duke) in the Round of 32.

Wolff will face North Carolina's No. 85 Joey Burkhardt tomorrow in Round of 16 action while Carleton will take on South Carolina's Ivan Machado. Atkinson is paired up against Duke's Jared Pinsky, and Kreyman is matched up with UNC's No. 30 Jose Hernandez, the No. 2 seed in the tournament.
