- Sophomore place kicker Jimmy Newman broke the Wake Forest record for consecutive made field goals with two converted field goals in tonight's game.
- Newman tied the record with a 32-yard field goal in the first quarter and set the record with a 36-yard field goal in the third quarter.
- Newman broke the record which was previously held by Sam Swank, who made 11 straight field goals in the 2005 season.
- For the season, Newman made 12 of his 13 field goals attempted (92.3 percent), setting a new Wake Forest record for single season field goal percentage, minimum 10 field goals attempted. After missing his first field goal of the season against Presbyterian, Newman closed the year making 12 straight.
- Newman was also a perfect 4-for-4 in extra point attempts in the game and he has now made 65 straight PATs, which ranks second in school history, trailing only Sam Swank's 121 straight made extra points.
- Redshirt freshman Josh Harris eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark for the second time this season, finishing the game with 138 yards on 18 carries.
- Harris also scored his seventh rushing touchdown of the season, finding the endzone on a 15-yard run in the first quarter.
- For the season, Harris recorded 720 yards on the ground on 126 carries.
- Redshirt senior Josh Adams had 42 yards on 11 carries with one touchdown in the victory.
- Adams finishes his collegiate career with 2,212 rushing yards. He leaves Wake Forest ranked tied for eighth in school history in career rushing yards, tying Larry Hopkins (1970-71).
- Adams also scored the 22nd rushing touchdown of his career, tying Tarence Williams (1999-2002) for fifth in school history in career rushing TDs.
- Redshirt senior Marshall Williams caught two passes for 12 yards in the game.
- Williams finishes his career with 110 receptions, ranking in a tie 15th in Wake Forest annals. He also leaves Wake Forest with 1,529 career receiving yards.
- Redshirt junior Devon Brown caught a team-high four passes for 37 yards.
- He ends the season with 110 career receptions and in a tie for 15th in school history in receptions.
Career Highs
- Redshirt junior Cyhl Quarles made a career high 10 tackles, including eight solo stops.
- Redshirt freshman Daniel Mack tied a season high with eight tackles.
Miscellaneous Notes
- Scott Betros and Lovell Jackson each recorded his first career interception in the game. Betros picked off a pass in the first quarter, while Jackson intercepted a pass in the endzone in the fourth quarter.
- Vanderbilt's two missed field goals in tonight's game marked the first time a Wake Forest opponent had missed two field goals in a game since Baylor went 1-for-3 on field goals in the 2009 season opener.
- Wake Forest blocked two punts in a game for the first time since the Vanderbilt game on November 29, 2008. C.J. Washington blocked a punt in the second quarter, while Chris Givens had a punt block in the third quarter.
- Tanner Price scored his fourth rushing touchdown of the season in the win, while Chris Givens had his second rushing touchdown of the year.
- Wake Forest won its first game this season when the opponent scored first.
- Wake Forest eclipsed 300 yards of total offense for the first time since the Virginia Tech game.
- Wake Forest's 13-member senior class played the final game of their collegiate careers.

- Wake Forest finishes the season 3-9 overall and 1-7 in the ACC.
- Jim Grobe's record at Wake Forest stands at 62-60 after 10 seasons.

- Tanner Price is the first true freshman quarterback starter to lead Wake Forest to a win since Anthony Young helped Wake to a 28-26 victory over Duke on Nov. 4, 2000.

- Wake Forest has won its final regular season game of the year for the fifth-consecutive year.
- Wake Forest has defeated Vanderbilt for the third straight time, its longest winning streak against the Commodores.
- Wake Forest won its fifth straight game against an SEC opponent, after having defeated Vanderbilt and Ole Miss in 2008, Vandy in 2007 and Ole Miss in 2006.
