WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Wake Forest women's basketball program has announced the dates for its annual Mike Petersen Basketball Camps.
The first session is a Shooting School on June 12-13. This camp is designed for the player who look to improve their shooting fundamentals through instruction and drill work. The camp will run approximately 9 am to 4 pm each day.
The next session is a week-long day camps The camp runs June 28-July 1. This camp will stress the fundamentals and advanced basketball skills for the beginner as well the experienced player. In addition to collegiate level instruction, this camp includes a number of contests and competitions throughout the week and will run from approximately 9 am to 4 pm each day.
All of the Mike Petersen Basketball Camps are held in the state-of-the-art Miller Center and the Reynolds Gymnasium on the Wake Forest campus.
Coach Petersen is starting his seventh season at the helm the Wake Forest women's basketball program. His fun, outgoing personality and his ability to teach the game of basketball has brought excitement back into the program. He has led the team to postseason play each of the last two years and has compiled a total of 37 wins over that span.
