WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The students are now back in the swing of classes and the Wake Forest women's basketball program is gearing up for what should be an exciting season. Over the next couple of weeks, WakeForestSports.com will post a Q and A with the four newcomers to the program. Today, the focus is on Erin Hall, a guard from Norcross, Ga.
The nickname everyone calls me is.... E or Ehall
I chose the number 2 because.... It was my high school basketball number.
My goals over the next four years are.... to win an ACC championship, play in the NCAA tournament, get a degree in medicine, make lifelong friendships, and find out who I am and what I'm going to do with my life.
I chose Wake Forest because.... it has it all -- a family-like community, great academics, and a great basketball program that is competitive in the ACC.
The thing that impressed me the most about Coach Petersen and his staff was.... how honest and loyal they were throughout the whole process. You can tell they really care about their players, and will do anything in order to make them better people on and off the court.
My favorite basketball moment was..... hitting six threes my sophomore year in the state championship game.
My pregame superstitions or routines are..... dancing, singing, and a prayer.
My favorite music artists are..... Taylor swift, Lady Antebellum, and John Mayer.
Something most people don't know about me is..... I love to paint and draw.
Best advice from Mom or Dad..... When life gives you more than you can handle, just give it to God and pray.
Describe your style of play in one word..... Smooth
Nobody can believe I watch(ed)..... All my children with my mom
Favorite athlete to watch in another sport..... Roger Federer play tennis
The hardest thing I've ever had to do was.... leave home
My worst habit is.... making excuses
The one thing I can't image living without is.... basketball and sports in general.
The best advice I ever received was.... from my high school coach Jan Azar, "if you can dream it, you can do it."
The top-3 things on my bucket list are.... go to Greece with my three best friends, sky-diving, and climb Machu Picchu.
