Duncan and Talbert Reach Quarterfinals at ITA Regional

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Kayla Duncan and Kathryn Talbert reached the doubles quarterfinals and Duncan also picked up a win in singles Saturday at the ITA Carolina Regional in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Duncan and Talbert, the No. 2 seeds in the doubles draw, dominated Yvonne Hubler and Alexandra Walters of Charleston Southern 8-0 in the Round of 16. They will face fifth-seeded Hanna Mar and Monica Turewicz of Duke in the quarterfinals tomorrow morning.
In singles, Kayla Duncan beat North Carolina's Tessa Lyons 6-1, 7-5 before narrowly falling to No. 63 Mary Clayton from Duke 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 in the Round of 16.
Ryann Cutillo and Karen Forman both dropped their second round singles matches to seeded ACC opponents.
