CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Duke's third-seeded doubles team of Beatrice Capra and Ester Goldfield rallied from a 6-2 deficit and fought off two match points to defeat Wake Forest's second-seeded duo of Kayla Duncan and Kathryn Talbert in the doubles semifinals of the ITA Carolina Regional in Chapel Hill Monday.

Duncan and Talbert were rolling early, picking up two breaks of serve to jump out to a 6-2 lead. But the Blue Devils began to pick up their level of play and slowly clawed their way back into the match.

With Duncan serving at 7-6, Wake Forest had two match points, but Duke responded by winning the next four points to take the game and seize the momentum. Behind strong serving from Capra and a good return game, the Blue Devils won the next two games to take the match.

The next event on Wake Forest's fall schedule is the Notre Dame Invitational, which will be held from Nov. 4-6 in South Bend, Ind.
