NEW YORK - Wake Forest's seventh-ranked doubles team of Kayla Duncan and Kathryn Talbert fell 8-5 to Boston College's Alex Kelleher and Olga Khmylev in the first round of the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center Thursday.
Duncan and Talbert fell into an early 4-1 hole, and though they rallied back to 4-3, the BC duo again picked up the intensity to earn the 8-5 win. The Demon Deacons will begin play in the consolation draw tomorrow.
