Corben Bone made his first start of the year for Chicago and goalkeeper Will Hesmer helped lead the Columbus Crew to a 2-1 win over Vancouver, highlighting former Demon Deacons in action in the MLS last weekend. Injuries hit the Wake contingent hard, keeping regulars Brian Carroll, Michael Lahoud and Pat Phelan sidelined.
Here's a look at how all of the former Wake Forest players did last week.
Midfielder Corben Bone made his first start of the season for Chicago and played 74 minutes in the Fire's 1-1 draw with the Colorado Rapids.
Midfielder Brian Carroll did not dress for the Philadelphia Union in their 1-0 win over San Jose. He has been recovering from a hamstring strain suffered on April 9.
Midfielder Sam Cronin entered the game as a substitute in the 63rd minute for San Jose in its 1-0 loss to Philadelphia.
Midfielder Austin da Luz did not dress for the New York Red Bulls in their 1-0 victory over Sporting Kansas City.
Goalkeeper Will Hesmer played the full 90 minutes for Columbus, making one save to help the Crew to a 2-1 win over Vancouver.
Defender Stephen Keel was an unused substitute for the New York Red Bulls in their 1-0 win over Sporting Kansas City.
Midfielder Michael Lahoud did not dress for Chivas USA's 3-0 victory over New England. He is recovering from a concussion.
Defender Ike Opara was an unused substitute in the San Jose Earthquakes 1-0 loss to Philadelphia.
Midfielder Pat Phelan did not dress in the New England Revolution's 3-0 loss to Chivas USA. He has now missed the Rev's last two games with a headache.
Defender James Riley played the full 90 minutes and recorded one shot in the Seattle Sounders 3-0 rout of Toronto FC.
Forward Zack Schilawski played the full 90 minutes for New England Saturday, unleashing two shots, including one on frame. The Revolution fell to Chivas USA 3-0.
Forward Scott Sealy started and played 57 minutes, taking one shot, in the San Jose Earthquakes 1-0 loss to the Philadelphia Union.
Midfielder Wells Thompson did not dress for the New England Revolution in their 3-0 loss to Chivas USA.
