Austin da Luz exploded for a three-point night, earning the first goal and assist of his career, and Michael Lahoud scored his first goal of the season to highlight former Wake Forest players in the MLS last week.
Here's a look at how all of the former Demon Deacons did in recent MLS action.
Midfielder Corben Bone was an unused substitute in the Chicago Fire's 1-1 draw with New England.
Midfielder Brian Carroll started and played the full 90 minutes for Philadelphia, recording one shot on goal in its 1-0 loss to Vancouver.
Midfielder Sam Cronin started and played the first half for the San Jose Earthquakes in their 1-0 loss to Sporting Kansas City.
Midfielder Austin da Luz put together a three-point night, scoring the first goal and assist of his career in an 80 minute appearance for the New York Red Bulls in their 3-3 draw with the Portland Timbers. Da Luz opened the scoring in the fourth minute, taking a pass from Dwayne De Rosario and slotting it past the goalkeeper to give the Red Bulls a 1-0 lead. He added an assist on Thierry Henry's goal in the 72nd minute that pulled New York back to within a goal at 3-2.
Goalkeeper Will Hesmer made three saves to earn a shutout in Columbus' 2-0 win over Houston.
Defender Stephen Keel started and played the full 90 minutes for the New York Red Bulls in their 3-3 draw with Portland.
Midfielder Michael Lahoud scored Chivas USA's lone goal in a 2-1 loss to FC Dallas. Lahoud's strike was his first of the season.
Defender Ike Opara did not dress for the San Jose Earthquakes in a 1-0 loss to Sporting Kansas City.
Midfielder Pat Phelan played the full 90 minutes in New England's draws with Toronto and Chicago last week, notching his first assist of the season against the Fire.
Defender James Riley played the full 90 minutes for the Seattle Sounders in their 1-0 road victory over Toronto FC.
Forward Zack Schilawski made two substitute appearances for New England last week, coming on in the 66th minute of the Revolution's 0-0 draw with Toronto and the 80th minute of their 1-1 draw with Chicago.
Forward Scott Sealy came on in the 87th minute of the San Jose Earthquakes' 1-0 loss to Kansas City, recording a shot.
Forward Wells Thompson started and played 85 minutes for the Colorado Rapids in a 3-1 loss to the LA Galaxy.
