Deacons Renew Rivalry with Duke
- Wake Forest will meet familiar foe Duke on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Koskinen Stadium in Durham, N.C.
- The Demon Deacons and Blue Devils will be meeting for the fourth time in the past two seasons.

Top Storylines
- In its last ACC match, Wake Forest scored the highest-ranked road win in program history, getting second-half goals from Jackie Logue and Kristen Meier to come from behind to defeat then-No. 7 Virginia 2-1.
- Wake Forest has allowed only nine goals all season and currently ranks second in the ACC with a 0.58 goals against average. Goalkeeper Aubrey Bledsoe ranks second in the ACC with seven shutouts.
- Kristen Meier and Katie Stengel are tied for the Wake Forest team lead with four goals and 10 points. Meier's four goals are a personal single-season high.
- Two juniors have taken over first place in the Wake Forest career record books this season. Katie Stengel's 39 goals and 93 points along with Aubrey Bledsoe's 23 shutouts are all the highest totals in school history. Bledsoe's 0.87 goals against average is also the lowest total for all Demon Deacon goalkeepers.
- The match between Duke and Wake Forest pits the top two teams in the ACC preseason poll. The Blue Devils were picked to finish first, garnering 10 of the 11 first-place votes, while the Demon Deacons were picked to finish second.
- This will be the third meeting this season between two teams that reached the 2011 College Cup. The first two matches both came in Tallahassee, Fla. as Duke and Wake Forest both fell to Florida State. The fourth team from the 2011 College Cup is Stanford, which won last year's national championship.
- With a start against Duke, senior captain Jackie Logue would move into a tie for second place on Wake Forest's all-time starts chart. Logue has started 83 games in her career; the school record is 85 starts set by Liz McDowell from 1999-02.

- Duke leads the all-time series with Wake Forest 14-7-3, though the two teams have split the last five meetings 2-2-1.
- The Demon Deacons and Blue Devils met three times last season, with Wake Forest winning in the ACC Championship semifinals and Duke taking matches in the regular season and NCAA College Cup.
- The Deacons notched their first-ever road win against Duke in their last trip to Durham in 2010 as Rachel Nuzzolese scored two free kick goals to lead the Deacs to a 2-1 win.
