WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The field hockey team's match with Cal on Sunday has been named this week's Wake Forest Game of the Week. Fans in attendance can sign-in at the marketing table to be entered into a season-long drawing for great prizes, including a pair of men's basketball season tickets.

No. 22 Wake Forest (6-8, 1-2 ACC) will be looking to maintain its perfect record against California (5-8, 2-3 NorPac) in the eighth meeting between the two sides this Sunday at 1:00 p.m. The Deacs have won each of the seven matchups in the history of the series by a composite score of 26-6.

The Demon Deacons will be looking to rebound from a 2-1 setback against Louisville last Sunday at Kentner Stadium and will face two opponents leading up to Sunday's Game of the Week. Wake will play Radford at home on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. and will travel to face No. 5 Virginia on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.

Jess McFadyen leads the team with eight goals and 18 points, new single-season career highs for the junior from Wellington, New Zealand. Taylor Rhea and Anna Kozniuk trail just behind her with 16 and 14 points, respectively. Lizzie Rae has launched 45 shots for the Deacs this season and has produced four goals for the squad.

Between the posts, Kaitlyn Ruhf has been a force to be reckoned with in 2012, tallying 66 saves and giving up just 27 goals in nearly 900 minutes of action. Ruhf moved to fifth on Wake Forest's all-time career saves list earlier this season and needs just two more to pass Kelle McPeters for fourth place.

California will be making the trip east to face both Duke and Wake Forest this weekend. Lara Kruggel leads the Bears with 15 goals and 32 points, the top marks in the NorPac Conference. Joelle van Hoorn has been strong in goal for the Bears as well, registering 42 saves and a 4-4 record.

About the Wake Forest Game of the Week Program Each week during the fall, one high-profile home event will be designated as the Game of the Week. At that game, fans should check in at the marketing table to be entered into a season-long raffle, giving them one entry for every Game of the Week that they attend. The more games attended, the greater chance to win.

At the men's soccer game against Maryland on Nov. 1, a drawing will be held for a Grand Prize of two men's basketball season tickets and a Wake Forest prize pack. Other prizes include four tickets to a men's basketball ACC home game, four tickets to a men's basketball non-conference game and four women's basketball season passes. Below is the Game of the Week schedule for the remainder of the fall.

Next week in the Game of the Week program is Deac Week. Women's soccer, volleyball and men's soccer all have key home games and all three will be Game of the Week events, giving fans a chance to maximize their entries into the raffle as the end of the fall season approaches.
