Wake Forest Begins Fall Baseball Practice

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest baseball team began fall practice on Saturday afternoon at Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Baseball Park under the direction of fourth-year head coach Tom Walter.

The Demon Deacons will practice through November and into December with a week-long trip to the Dominican Republic scheduled as the culmination of fall practice on December 16-22. On the trip, the Demon Deacons will play six games against local competition.

The regular season for the Demon Deacons begins on February 15 in Monroe, La., when the team will play a doubleheader. The first game will be against Alcorn State, while the second team will be against the host Louisiana-Monroe.
